Incredibly rude CSR on the 800# reservation call.

Customer Service is abhorrent when you call the 800#. My daughter was stranded in Dallas when her bus was cancelled and she had to wait 9 hours in the middle of the night for the next bus. We decided to get her a hotel room. It would be safer and she could get some much needed sleep. I called Baymont Hotel in Dallas. I talked to the representative and told him that I need to book a room for my 18 year old daughter. He was at the other end of the 800#. He asked me all the regular questions: name, address, credit card, etc. I answered all the questions. He said the booking was confirmed and he would send the confirmation to my email (I never got it). I told him my daughters name and age and said she would be at the hotel within 30 minutes. He said I would need to check her in. I am across the country in Kentucky and unable to check her in. I reserved the room for her. He said since it was on my credit card that I would need to check her in. He said when she checked in she would need to have and present her credit card in order to get the room. She doesn't have a credit card. So, I told him to just cancel it and I would book somewhere else. He said he could cancel but I would be charged for the room anyway because it was after the 24 hour free cancellation time limit. I said he just booked it less than 2 minutes ago and asked, "you are going to charge me for a room that you won't let my kid sleep in, and I just booked it less than 2 minutes ago. He said that is their policy (sounds like a very underhanded, loan-sharkish operational policy). He turned rude quickly. Then I did. Things went south and the conversation became very unruly. He spoke over me. Did not listen to me. I asked to speak to a manager. He said "No. You are speaking to me." I became livid. After more angered words, he asked if I wanted to be transferred to the front desk. I said yes, definitely. I then got to speak so a gentleman that was very much more respectful. Finally got my daughter a room. It is stressful enough when your loved one gets stranded and you don't have a place for them to spend the night in a city far away. I didn't need the added stress and anxiety causing rudeness to exacerbate the situation. I will definitely not be using any Baymont hotel again. And I may steer clear of Wyndham all together. I work in a travel agency. I have never had such trouble. I am shocked the Wyndham operates in this manner. I will definitely be telling my coworkers about the occurrence.

Amenities document breakfast. No breakfast-4 apples, no hot foods, pretty bad coffee, some bread, etc. Not even a descent continental breakfast. Milk out of a shared gallon container; not enough yogurt to meet the need. Definitely brand issue: inconsistent. Baymont in Flagstaff had a full breakfast.

Great stay for the reasonable price. Ruby the manager is very nice and helpful. This is probably my 10th time staying here. This will be my to go stay when in town. Clean rooms, property is always getting updates which is a great thing.

limited breakfast and ran out of syrup for waffles and there was no sense of urgency to resolve issue. so I checked out and went to go buy breakfast elsewhere. great way to get me to stay with the lure of breakfast but items were limited
